Santa bookings

Santa will be at the Milton of Crathes again this year every Saturday and Sunday from 25th November up to and including 23rd December.

On arrival at the railway, visitors will receive their refreshments on the platform to take on a steam train ride down the line, where there will also be festive singing. On their return, the children will receive their presents from Santa in a grotto by the station. The elves in the grotto will ask for the age of the child to ensure that Santa gives a gift of the correct age group.

All seating on the train is self allocated at the time of booking and the whole Santa experience will last approximately 30 - 40 minutes. Note that each train service has a limit of 30 children to give each child some time with Santa. All services leave from and return to the station at the Milton of Crathes, where ample free car parking is available.

Tickets are only available by online booking in advance. There will be no tickets available over the counter from the station shop, by email, phone or snail mail.

Please note that all bookings are non-refundable, and cancellation refunds and changes to bookings are NOT available. Refunds will only be available if the event is unable to run for any reason.

We strongly recommend the use of travel insurance to cover the cost of any changes to your travel arrangements.

Bookings cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.

Making a booking is an acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.

All services will be steam hauled but may be substituted by diesel in the event of loco unavailability.

All services run weather permitting.

ADULTS & JUNIORS : (10 years & over) : £ 12.00

includes a steam train ride, a mince pie, tea and coffee.

CHILD * (1 - 9 years inclusive) : £ 18.00

includes a present from Santa, biscuit, drink and the steam train ride

A non-refundable booking fee of £2.00 applies to all ticket sales.

* Presents are available in three age groups :

1 - 3 ; 4 - 6 ; and 7 - 9 years inclusive.

Children under 1 year of age travel free but receive no present.
