Royal Train

A "Royal Train" working passes through Banchory in the 1920s. The coaches are those built by the London North Western Railway (LNWR) whilst the locomotives are ex-Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR), probably Class F designs. The GNSR always provided two engines to work the royal train and this practice continued through LNER and BR days.
